The Valley Wellness Centers

    As many of you may have already heard the quaint Mid Valley Chiropractic & Wellness Center and the Valley Wellness Centers are about to expand to the WIN Health Institute, so that we may better serve you and the community as a whole. We are expecting construction completion the first part of 2008. The new location will be located in mid valley Basalt. We will be working in cooperation with the medical community to enhance healthcare throughout our valley.

     I would like to describe for you the basis of the center and general layout of the building. The foundation consists of an integrated approach to health incorporating eastern and western techniques. On a personalized basis, we address past problems, present issues and establish a future health plan utilizing a balanced approach to health. This creates a win-win situation. 

    The vision of the future healthcare oasis will be 30,000 square feet and three stories high. As you enter the building, you will experience an openness and general sense of well-being. The entrance will be spacious with a three-story atrium illuminating natural light from above. There will be a welcoming information center to greet you.

     The first floor will feature a healthcare cooperative where you will be able to purchase an array of health products and supplies to meet your needs. The west wing will provide chiropractic care, medical services and radiology. The corresponding east wing will be a therapeutic spa including massage, facials, acupuncture and oriental medicine with designated gender specific locker rooms featuring steam, sauna and waiting area. In addition, there will be a gradient/watsu swim pool and full medical hyperbaric chamber.

    You may take the curved staircase or 5 element encased elevator to the second floor. This floor offers many options in movement such as a 2,500 square foot pilates and gyrotonic studio and equally appealing adjacent performance center. The other wing on this level will provide a multipurpose room for community oriented classes ranging from yoga to educational lectures. This level will also offer a children’s learning center for those parents wanting their children educationally engaged during their treatments.  

    The third floor will encompass four employee housing units and four penthouse units for short term rental by people who will be visiting for health retreats. Each of these will have a lovely balcony to enjoy beautiful Colorado. It is so magnificent to combine healthcare with the great outdoors.
