What’s your mission statement?

The W.I.N. Institute is dedicated to integrative healthcare research and education to improve quality of life through wellness and prevention. Our vision is to change healthcare by bridging the gap between traditional and complementary medicine, by helping people to help themselves through a balanced approach to health.

Tell me about the history of your organization…….

Since 1995, we have worked with healthcare in the Roaring Fork Valley. Dave & I founded the W.I.N. Institute to address various concerns we observed including epidemic healthcare issues in our community and across the nation. The Institute for World Integrated Neurocenters received 501c3 status in the year 2000. Our programs are based on creating win-win situations in community healthcare.

Tell me about your involvement, and why it’s meaningful to you…….

We believe we were born for a reason. Our purpose is to change healthcare by creating fully integrated healthcare from a more natural approach. Year round, we donate time and services within our community. We believe in our mission of helping others by incorporating western & complimentary aspects of medicine while educating & empowering individuals to take responsibility for them selves. The best of both worlds work together to meet individual needs from rehab to athletic & life enhancement. We are into health because we care.

What would you like the public to know?

Generally, people have had to go to the larger cities to find advanced methods of treatment & analysis. We are bringing cutting edge technology to you. Our nonprofit has three primary programs. 

Children~ Health scholarship, prodigy center provides education on how their body works and how natural foods have a positive relationship to their whole body

Elderly~ education on the relationship between drugs and nutritional products

Mobile Health Unit~ put our Mission in Motion for valley wide care  

Free lecture series and social series for healthcare education

What’s next, in terms of development and goals?

We will set a premise of superior care & cooperation within the healthcare profession that will positively influence our great nation & the world. It is about quality of life at all ages & stages. The WIN Health Institute is due to open January 2008. The nonprofit will be located at this fully integrative 30,000 square foot healthcare facility. 

Our next goal is the development of Full Lifestyle Integrative Programs. F.L.I.P. takes individuals and guides them to a healthy lifestyle integrating eastern and western techniques to optimize their healthcare experience and improve their quality of life. It is about personalized healthcare through a balanced approach to health.

Research studies, pilot programs, and published articles will authenticate the expediential results that occur with the use of integrative treatments.
